Rubbers
The ITTF approved Palio CJ8000 rubbers included on the Palio Master 2.0 are well known for their ability to generate spin whilst maintaining high levels of control and feeling. This is due to their softer sponge and tacky topsheet, which enables players to purposefully produce topspin, backspin and sidespin.
Blade
The all wood Palio Master 2.0 blade has been completely redesigned, improving both quality and feeling. The Master 2 is an ideal bat for an amateur looking to play at competition level. The rubbers are of very high quality, and are tacky enough to play against intermediate opponents.
Like several others at my local club (that have also upgraded to Palio), the bounce caught me a little off-guard! It requires a slight adjustment in your playing style if you’re used to basic bats with lower speed. It doesn’t take long to get to grips with it though.
Overall I’m really pleased with my purchase. It’s a brilliant bat for the price.
