The Palio Legend 2.0 is heavier than the ‘Master’ and ‘Expert’ bats, and is designed to generate immense speed and spin into your shots. It’s recommended for advanced players that already have good feeling and control, and want to capitalise on their strengths.
Rubbers
The ITTF approved Palio Hadou rubbers have a harder sponge, which is characteristic of high-level Chinese rubbers and suits an all-out attack style. The harder sponge makes it possible to generate huge amounts of spin & speed — but it decreases the amount of control. Thus the bat is recommended for experienced players.
Blade
The all wood Palio ETT Legend 2.0 blade has been completely redesigned, improving both quality and feeling. It features a flared handled that is very comfortable to hold and compliments the Hadou rubbers. It is made of a harder wood, again to maximise power, which turns the Palio Legend 2.0 into a super fast combination.

I bought the Legend 2 about six weeks ago. Here’s a summary of my experience so far:
– Fast… really fast! I love it – but novice players will undoubtedly send the ball off the table, and might be better suited to a bat with a softer sponge (e.g. the Expert 2)
– More control than I was expecting. The sponge is fairly hard, yet it’s still soft enough for defensive play
– Perfect for fast loops and chops. It generates so much spin, which I’m delighted with.
– Value for money. Other bats to this standard cost upwards of £70, and you could easily spend more trying to create your own custom set-up.
Another plus is that similar Hadou rubbers can be bought over the internet (which I didn’t consider before buying).
So it’s a little surprising to see that some reviewers focus on trivial negatives (e.g. a mark on the free bat case, or a slightly loose rubber), when it’s still a very reasonably priced product with the potential to help improve your offensive game.
In summary: fantastic bat. I’d recommend the Legend 2 to any intermediate player.
